Hi dear user I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
I suggets to consult an endocrinologist in your area because it is very important to find the right diagnose of your wife's thyroid problem ,for the right treatement.
If i was your treating doctor i will ask first to do the thyroid tests(TSH,free T3 and free T4) to understand the actual thyroid function and than perform a thyroid gland ultrasound to see the thyroid structure.
After the results the doctor can reach the definitive diagnose and make the necessary dose adjustment of Thyronorm.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help. Best regards.
