Suggest Remedy For Typhoid

I stay in India and had typhoid fever in the month of may- june but doctors were unable to diagnose it through widal test then one doctor after seeing the symptoms diagnosed it in the month of August, i was treated with azithromycin and the fever was gone but it again recur in 2 week time. After that two months have gone by bt I still have fever once or twice in 10 days duration. I would like to bring to your notice that my RBC is Anisocytosis with predominantly Microcytic hypochromic. Can you please tell me how long will it take me to recover from this fever completely.

Hello
As you mentioned that you are having anisocytosis with microcytic hypochromic . Most probably anemia also present . Get in blood examination for hemoglobin level ( 13-16 gm%) . Sometimes anemic patient also develops fever so be sure that you are having typhoid .
Usually the course of typhoid fever is 14 -28 days i.e 2-4 weeks .
When such type of patient visit I usually prescribe " CIPROFLOXACIN 500 MG " tablet twice in day for 2-4 weeks time.
Since this is a prescription drug so consult a physician and get his opinion.
Boiled and cooled water is important because typhoid fever is a water born disease.
