Suggest Remedy For Vaginal Discomfort, Cracked Vaginal Lips And Painful Intercourse

I do not take any medications. I have the Nexplanon implant. I am experiencing vaginal discomfort, tissue like discharge when i wipe, cracking on lips and painful intercourse. It happens often and I try to treat it by washing with apple cider vinegar every few days and applying coconut oil every day. Usually by doing that it will go away and I stop my homemade treatment. If I have intercourse and my vagina isnt very lubricated it will come right back.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to yeast infection. A swab test will be helpful to rule out the condition. Avoid using soaps and irritants to wash the area and instead you can use saline or warm water. Applying clotrimazole cream ( monistat ) locally will be helpful to clear the infection. You can also use intimate wash daily to normalize vaginal bacterial flora and PH.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
