Suggest Remedy For Vaginal Pain After Intercourse

Last night, during intercourse, I experienced instant pain and when I inspected the area down there, I found a cut about a 1.5cm long on the inside of lips of my vagina. I am not sure how I even received the cut, let alone how to treat it. please help!?!?
