Suggest Remedy For Varicose Veins On Groin And Inner Calf

Hi, I am 27 weeks pregnant . I have varicose veins on my left groin and my left inner calf area. My whole left calf is covered with red specks and deep purple veins , very miserable and painful . My OB is not concerned , "its only cosmedic" . I have tried the self help . At what point should there by a medical concern and no longer a cosmedic concern ???
