Hi,I had gone through your query and understand your concern.
Every medicine should be given to children very cautiously.

I need to know few more information like fever, wheeze(an abnormal sound heard during breathing),respiratory rate, oxygen saturation and any other general danger signs to give an opinion.

So my suggestion is : Please go to your local doctor to confirm the diagnosis and then give medicine accordingly.

Hope this answers you.If you have additional queries or follow up question, please do not hesitate in writing us.

Wish your son good health.
