Hi my father is 50+ suffering from hepatitis b and CLD , as doctors guess that he is suffering from this diseases since from 10 to 15 years , as now he is on treatment but the mdician what Is being prescribed to him keeps him lazy and week , he is not eating properly as doctors stoped him the usage of salt which makes him very weak because of this he is not taking food properly , suggest me what should I do in order to keep him energetic
Hepatitis B leading to chronic Liver disease, suggests a life of moderation and limitations.Hep B predisposes to hepatic cancer, cirrhosis and bleeding disorders. Need some more info on the labs and cause of CLD to help u. The laziness and fatigue is a part of the disease complex. Advanced treatment options like liver transplant may be considered. It is salt restriction and NOT salt free. Does he have any fluid collection in the abdomen? do give him Potassium and Salt if he is on Diuretics. All in all the patient requires a proper follow-up with frequent labs and treatment changes
