General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Some people are small by nature and only after a certain age their metabolism settles and they do gain weight. Meanwhile, to make sure that there are not other important medical conditions behind your low weight you can have these tests: CBC, TSH, FT4, liver function tests, kidney function tests, lipids and sugar.

If all of these are normal and the doctor does not find anything worrisome while he examines you, it probably nothing to worry.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
