Hi,

Herpes can start with tingling or itching sensation about a day before regular painful rash with burning pain or pustules appear in the typical pattern along a nerve distribution. Hence, your rash cannot be attributed to herpes.
- It can be allergic reaction to the latex material of condom/something else you have started eating recently
-Dry skin can itch the same way.
* Try applying moisturiser to skin
*Drink anti allergic pill over the counter like Cetirizine after dinner.
*Consult a skin specialist if there is aggravation or no relief with home care.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
