Suggest Remedy For White Blur Vision

My 15 year old son who had exceptional vision suddenly got very poor eyesight, then 3 months later got occasional to now daily white curtain like vision obstruction for 5 seconds to 5 minutes. Some discomfort around eyes or on head in general but not what could be a headache. Had an MRI and shows not a growth but what appears to be more brain on one side but not scary in size...could be norm for him. No weakness of muscle. The white blur is coming on mre now but not so much that he is dibilitated for more then th efew seconds.
