Suggest Remedy For Wisdom Tooth Root Angled Towards Nerve

Appx 4 year back i got 4 wisdom tooth. All were hollow and black since they grown up. I have extracted one which was paining alot. But now other started causing sever pain. Doctor told me, he cant perform RCT on wisdom tooth. Doctor conducted an xray and he found the root of my wisdom tooth is bent toward any nerve. Doctor told me extraction of this teeth can cause permanent damage to the nerve. Guide me please..what to do?

Hi..
Can understand your concern..

As per your complain it is true that the roots of wisdom tooth lies in close contact with the Inferior dental nerve which is the nerve that supplies the lower jaw on either side..
During the extraction of the wisdom tooth it is very much possible that the inferior dental nerve gets damaged leading to paresthesia of the nerve or there can be complete breakage of nerve leading to complete numbness..

In case if you have a decayed wisdom tooth you can consult an ENDODONTIST who is a specialist in root canal treatment and can take an x ray and evalate the condition of your tooth and if possible can do a root canal treatment as it is not contraindicated to get a wisdom tooth root canal done..

In case if the root canal cannot be done you need to consult an Oral Surgeon who can evaluate the closeness of the nerve to the root of the tooth and can perform the extraction cautiously by cutting the bone around the tooth as well as split the tooth into parts to extract the tooth without damaging the nerve....

Hope this information helps..
