Hi,

Definitely, Clonazepam seems more addictive as compared to Cipralex. However, Clonazepam is prominently anxiolytic whereas Cipralex is mainly anti-depressive. Therefore, your prescription should be either of these, depending on your symptoms. If the symptoms are mixed of anxiety and depression, then both may be used simultaneously thus requiring a comparatively low dose of each of these.

Still, I agree with your doctor that such low dose of clonazepam, just for 20 days should not cause withdrawal symptoms even after such a long period of 4 months or so. Also, propronalol and betacap are the same salt and it definitely has no addictive effect. Also, use of betacap / propronalol may sometimes, itself cause asthma like symptoms rather it can not be withdrawl symptoms.

Definitely, I will advise you to consult your psychiatrist in this regards, as to me, you do not look like to be having withdrawal symptoms, rather these may be symptoms of condition of anxiety and/or depression which may need a further re-evaluation of your disease process by a psychiatrist and treatment accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
