Hi I am having very bad itching in Crotch once in a while, i used to take grisefulvin tablets 250 mg , after two day no itching and no marks too. but this problem i am facing every month like that , can you please suggest me what i need to do, my skin is getting black and when scratch white pieces are coming ...

hi,
thank you for putting up your query on HCM.
as per your history, you have fungal infection called Tinea cruris.
as it is recurrent, I would advise you:
1. maintain hygiene.
2. wash the groin area, at least twice a day.
3. wear loose cotton clothes.
4. you may also take cap itraconazole 100 mg bd for 7 days with 3 wks off, this cycle to be repeated for 3 months after consulting a dermatologist.
5. you may also apply miconazole cream twice a day.
6. for itching, you may take tab levocetrizine bd.
