Hi,

You have given very short history so it is difficult to pinpoint the diagnosis. However, as it is on face and side of neck and your dermatologist has seen giving acne related cream, I feel that most probably it may be folliculitis.

Few months course of cap Minocycline daily would improve the condition. Apply Clindamycine gel on the lesions at night. Avoid soap for washing the face and neck. Cetaphil cleansing lotion may be used.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
