Suggest Remedy To Reconstruct Scoliosis Surgery

I had scoliosis surgery almost 30 years ago. Now the disk below the fusion is crumbling and I will have to have extensive surgery to remedy the problem. It s a two-part surgery. They will have to remove the rods in my back, Go thru the abdomen to remove the disk and do reconstruction. Is there any additional information you can tell me about this type of surgery? Is it common? Recovery time?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern as matter of fact this is major planned orthopedic surgery and all the procedure that would be taken in hand is entirely depends upon the clinical condition and your imaging study, without the complete case study it is not possible to comment any thing or advise you in accordance, it would be better to have a second opinion to clear the doubts, take care and have a nice day.
