Suggest Remedy To Reduce Swelling In Knuckles

HI, i hit my hand about two months ago. The knuckle on my ring finger is actually lower than the knuckle on my pinky finger (closed fist view). There is no longer any pain and there is minimal swelling above the ring finger knuckle. i'm assuming that this won't self-correct, but will the swelling subside? I miss my wedding ring!
