Suggest Remedy To Reduce Swelling In Labia

Hi, I had a tiny swelling roughly 1cm big in my left labia which I noticed today for the first time, was slightly itchy as well. As I was pressing it between my fingers to see if it would hurt the swelling literally slipped and it felt like it had moved away and in the next one min my left labia minors has swollen to twice it s size. It s not painful just warm and really swollen. Is there anything I can do to decrease the swelling??

hi.

noted history of swelling over your left labia. it may be folliculitis which usually occurs after shaving or when hair is accidentally pulled-out and inflammation/infection ensues secondary to chemical irritants, dirt, etc. other causes such as cystic formation must also be ruled-out. a consult with your doctor, preferably a gynecologist is best. physical examination and clinical evaluation will be done. management (medical and/or surgical if indications are found) will be directed accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
