Suggest Remedy To Relieve Kidney Stone Pain In Pregnant Woman
im 32 weeks pregnant and have a known non-obstructive 7mm x 5mm kidney stone. Went to the hospital because of increasing pain that has changed location and type. Fetal Monitor showed uterine irritability but no distress. UA showed urobilinogen of 1.0 and trace protein, nothing else. Sent home. Currently pain has increased again, and is now accompanied by nausea. Suggestions?
Hello Thanks for query . You are 32 weeks pregnant and have been detected to have non obstructing stone of a size of 7 mm in your kidney .
Taking in to consideration that it is non obstructing stone and you are in 32 weeks of pregnancy it is advisable to wait till you get delivered following which you can go either for Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy or endoscopic removal of stone depending upon the site and size of the stone at that particular time .
Till then you can take pain killers in mild dosage as and when necessary under the guidance of your Gynecologist . Dr.Patil.
