Suggest Remedy To Remove Large Suture Tunnels On Penis

I was circumcised as a child. Now i have suture tunnels that are large and look like piercings. Two of them are large enough that they could be used as piercings. Over the years they have just gotten larger and one had torn. Im scared of further harm and i am looking for a safe way to remove them. Is there a common procedure/specialist i should look into? Please help!!!

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

They won’t cause any problem and can be left untouched. If you want to correct it, consult a general surgeon and get it excused. Nothing much to worry and it can be easily removed under local anesthesia.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
