Suggest Remedy To Remove The Mark Of Injury Due To Fall On Nose Of A Child

Hellow Dr, MY daughter who is just 18 months, and fell down on a plastic toy, which cats her skin on top of nose, whn I took her to ENT Dr, he said thr is nothing like fracture or major , so stitching not needed. and he gave oinments to apply on the injury. and afrer 2 weeks it was fine.

But my query here is ... the mark still remains on her nose..we thought it may disappear...day by day...but it is not happening...as like we thought....please advice...what shud I do.

Thanks for the query,

Scar marks can be removed medically as well as surgically.

Also LASERS are good in removing scars.

The modality of treatment can be decided only after seeing the scar.

Creams like vaniza or contratubex do help a bit.

A photograph would have helped me better.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
