Suggest Remedy To Wean Off From Benzodiazepines

Hi I am 50 and have been prescribed benzodiazepines since I was 8 years old. I am on Diazepam 2mg and was on a dose of 12mgs dailey. My new GP says I must reduce and come off them altogether. They have cut my medication from 12mgs daailey to 9mg dailey in under 3 weeks. I am suffering and they say it's not too fast, I disagree as I am the one suffering and cant beleive after 42 years I can be weaned off in a few months
