Suggest Risk For Fetus And Mother With Enlarged Spleen During Pregnancy

Hi.. I am 8 weeks pregnant and have a few concerns. I have an enlarged spleen and wanted to know if my baby or myself are at risk? I m scared once I m bigger that the baby will kick me there and possibly rupture it. I also have gallstones which lately have been giving me pain and was wanting to know if it was possible since I m pregnant to have emergency gallbladder surgery if it came down to it.?????

WELCOME

THERE ARE MANY CAUSES OF ENLARGED SPLEEN...THE COMMON IS MALARIA..
IF YOU HAVE ASSOCIATED SYMPTOMPS ,TELL YOUR DOCTOR SO ACTUAL CAUSE CAN BE FOUND AND TREATED...

DONT WORRY YOUR BABY IS INSIDE UTERUS AND BABY WILL NOT RUPTURE YOUR SPLEEN...

FOR GALLSTONE, IF THESE ARE MULTIPLE AND SYMPTOMATIC , SURGERY CAN BE DONE AFTER 12 WEEKS IN SECOND TRIMESTER...NOT BEFORE 12 WEEKS...

THANKS
