Im 51, have not fully hit menopause, have had ablation surgery which has not totally stopped bleeding and now have HORRIBLE unbearable cramps! I was taking the Depo shot, but have not takin it in over a year now because of the side affects from it. If you can help ID love advice.Thank you,Jamie

Dr. Hanif warmly Welcomes you!

Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not to worry as I will take care all of your medical concerns.

Yes there is a medication approved by FDA and is used actually for different reasons and is also in practice for delaying the periods.

If I was your treating physician I would have prescribed you Norethisterone, a progesterone containing drug if not allergic to.

This is just a short answer. If you need detailed Instructions on how to delay and how many days you can remain off-periods and complete precautions, feel free to contact me anytime directly from my profile by clicking on Ask me a question for a follow-up query. I am here 24/7 to help you without delay.

Happy Vagas Holidays and have a blessed time ahead.

Best Regards!
