Suggest Safest And Most Painless Way To Extract A Loose Tooth In Children

My daughter is 6 and has a very loose tooth with her adult tooth coming in behind it. She is wiggling it and it s still hasn t come out. I m afraid it can come out while she is asleep and she could choke on it! Can that happen? Is it safe for her to sleep with a very loose tooth?

Hello
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Extreme measures to remove loose tooth must be avoided, as the tooth will come out on by itself when ready. Incidence of choking on loose tooth during sleep is negligible therefore there is nothing to worry about.
Forcefully removing loose tooth may cause damage to the gum and root, better way to deal with the loose tooth is to leave it the way it is and ask the child to play with it in a gentle way to loosen it.
Hope your concern is answered. Thank you.
