Suggest Significance Of Obmet SR Medicine For High Sugar Levels

Hi Doctor,Sugar Level - fasting 130 and after food 150. my sugar level was getting down often for the past 2 - 3 weeks during morning and after noon. now doctor suggested me to go with insulin only morning. And night time with Obmet SR. why OBMET SR. What is the use of it?

it is also called metformin
this medication helps you in stoping glucose coming out from your liver and controlles excess sugar in blood
