Suggest Substitute For Beta Blocker.

I just went on bystolic 5 due to high blood pressure ranging from 140/90 to 180/90. I was having terrible headaches as well. I have only been on it 3 days and did not take it this morning because I noticed yesterday that it increased asthma symptoms. This morning my resting blood pressure is 106/70 - quite low for me..lol... Is this is a normal resting blood pressure after taking a beta blocker so soon after treatment and is there a better beta blocker I can take that would not effect my asthma?
