Suggest Suitable Medication For An Infection In The Scrotum
clarithromycin. Was prescribed antibiotics for infection following surgery on my scrotum. HAve taken antibiotics for 2 days and infection seems to be clearing up but would is now sealed and a bit painful so want to know if this is normal and whether I can take an paracetamol for the pain?

Thanks for query .You have not mentioned nature of surgery you have undergone on scrotum
As such swelling and pain in scrotum after any surgery is known and one needs to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefixime along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily for a period of one week.
Do not worry it will get cured with this treatment .
