I have raised bumps on my lips. They do not have puss or drainage, my lips are very dry as though they are dehydrated. Of course they are chapped, I apply chap stick, lip gloss, or lip stick constantly. I am a very dark skin African American so I am not sure what color the bumps/rash is. It appears to be flesh colored, and it tingle/itch at times.
Understanding your concern. As per your query small blisters on lips is because of dehydration which is causing dryness and chapping of lips and leading to fungal infection there. It could be due to herpes which can lead to cold sore formation. I would suggest you to avoid hot, sharp and spicy food. In case of herpes Antiviral oral and topical therapy like Acyclovir are helpful. Drink plenty of water. Suck on ice pops. Drinking plenty of water and cold liquids. Don't let that area dry and keep applying aloe vera gel or petroleum jelly on frequent basis as dry skin. Maintain oral hygiene. Consult dermatologist if symptoms keeps on persisting and get treatment done. Maintain a good oral hygiene.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
