Suggest Tests For A Head Injury

Hi, my brother just yesterday slipped on the bathroom tiles and fell head first causing immediate bleeding- he then went to the hospital and got stitches. My question is what are some safety precautions he should take? (For example should he get an MRI?)

Welcome to health care magic.

It all depending up on the weather he has lost conscious or not - if so then a CT scan ( computer tomography ) has to be done.

To be safe side you get your brother a CT scan.

CT scan has radiation effect, if money is not an issue get an MRI scan done that would be helpful.

Mean while you take care of the external wound care. Good luck.

Hope i have answered your query.
