General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the VDRL positive means past infection with Syphillis via Treponemon Pallidum infection. The heart damage can be visualised with the evaluation of 2D echo of the heart valves, functioning and other features.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
