Suggest Tests To Confirm Pregnancy.

I have done my follucular study on 15 th day right overy having one yst of 21*16, My doc has given me injection on the same day and ask to do intercoursre within 12 hours. Now shall I have to do scan again to see egg has reptured or not? what are the chances of pregnanacy after that injection please tell me

1.First of all do not panic.

2. Your doctor must have given you injection of 5000 or 10000 IU of Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin.
This helps the follicle to mature and rupture to release egg in 24 to 26 hours.

3.You can have unprotected sex act in next 2 to 3 days to increase the chances of conception.
Injection has more than 95% chance of egg formation.

4.It is the other factors like sperm quantity and quality and patency of the tubes, that are responsible for pregnancy.
As such, with egg formation and normalcy of other factors chances of getting pregnancy are 16% in normal situation.

5. I will suggest to start on Vitamin B 12 and Folic acid supplements at least 3 months prior to prevent various risks during conception and pregnancy as a whole.
