Hi,
If you had an intercourse during the time of your menstrual period, you are absolutely safe. In addition, you had an emergency pill which confers almost total protection when taken soon after the incident. As the pill contains excess hormone, it disturbs the hormonal balance of the body and thus causes breakthrough bleed. You can also expect your next normal period to get delayed by a week or two. Please wait for your next normal period and if you do not see it even ten days after it is due, take expert help for further management. Hope this helps.
