Suggest Tests To Detect Fungal Infections

Hello, I recently had to vacate my home due to toxic mold, stachebotris (sp?) and 2 other toxic molds, I have been exsposed for 3 years and have experienced a number of symptoms, but now any kind of protien I smell or try to eat is racid, and I can t eat it. Also my boyfriend was in icu for 5 days needing 5 blood transfusions, dx with sever animea, both are very heathy and have never taken any thing or have been ill. Now we r both very ill....what kind of dr. Can test for anti bodies level for mytoxin and is their a tx out there? Thank you for your time Kendall marden

Hello
You remained in that house , which were full of molds( 4 types ) and now you feel bad smell even in protein.
Mold causes severe allergy and this produces bronchoconstriction .
Toxic mold and other molds develops respiratory infection and allergy.
So get in SKIN TESTS & RADIOALLERGOSORBENT TESTS ( RAST) , so consult an Allergy specialist .
Anemia may be due to chronic infection for three years , so for that get in bone marrow examination after peripheral blood film examination to find out the exact cause of anemia.
