Suggest Tests To Diagnose UTI And Yeast Infection

My girlfriend went to the Doctors office 6 days ago after experiencing UTI symptoms for the past 4months. They told her she has both a yeast infection and a UTI. As of today she said the meds prescribed are not responding. Her doctor sent one additional prescribtion to the paharmacy today and informed her that if they do not work she will have to go back and they will have to run more tests.... What else could it be? What other tests are they talking about? I am not aware of the specific meds, but the one she first got i do know was an oral tablet. Please help.

Hai,

urinary tract infection may occur with both bacterial and fungal infection.
Normally for an urinary tract infection physician usually recommend urine routine and urine culture to rule out the cause of the infection.

usually physician will prescribe antibiotics for urinary tract infection.
urine culture will reveal which infection is causing the problem.from that report proper antibiotic will be chosen.
