Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My chin has been having alot of pressure in it the last week..comes and goes...now is pretty constant...I happened to look at my lower front gums and they are dark pink/purple...upper gums are pink...I am not a smoker...am concerned if this is an infection....heart....or nothing to worry about. Thank you.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe it appears to be the infection of the lower lip, or the gums. As the infection is progressing, there will be increase if pressure and the color change. I advise you to consult a pediatrician for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have an incision and drainage, to prevent the spread of infection, and pain. I usually prescribe to my patient with such infection cifixime, ornidazole, serratiopeptidase, diclofenac , and paracetamol. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
