Suggest The Dosage Of Ciprofloxacin Recommended For UTI

Hi, I m in the Philippines and I got a UTI. They gave me antibiotics called Ciprofloxacin Ciprodin 500mg tablet but they were unclear on the instructions on when to take it and how many to take. I received 14 pills. I was wondering if you could tell me the instructions on how to take these antibiotics. Thank you!

Hello,

You can take ciprofloxacin 500 mg twice a day for one week. It will be better to take the pill after food to avoid gastritis related side effects. Nothing much to worry and your treatment is in the right track.
