Suggest The Ideal Dosage For Amlodipine

My Bp in the doctor s surgery was 160 over 90. I have white coat syndrome as I have used the 24 hour bp monitor with no problems. She has increased my dose from 5 mg of amlodopine to 10mg of amlodopine. I am very concerned about the side effects. Would it be ok to take 10mg of amlodopine every other day instead of every day?

Hi,

You can monitor it quietly at home to subside the white coat problem. I don't think you can change the dosages once 5 other days 10 mg. Continue with 10 mg.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka,
