Suggest The Medication For Brown Pus On The Toe

Hello
I had a pedicure a month ago and the pedicurist found like a calluous on my big right toe where my big toe meets my foot she kept picking at it and then gave up. A week later my foot swelled up and went to the doctor and was put on two different types of antibiotics and also IV antibiotics which did not do anything. The in emergency they took a swab of the infection and sent it to the lab and it came back plus minus whatever that means now I am seeing a podiatrist and he is going to take a biopsy. I am still in pain the swelling has gone down but there is continual puss coming out after each daily bandage and the puss looks a brown red in colour. What are your suggestions as far as a possible anti biotic I should be using.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi. The infection in the foot is different than the other areas of body. The duration of one month suggests me that there is an infecting focus like a dead tissue ( slough) which needs to be excised.
