Suggest Therapy For HIV Positive

Sir, My friend is a widow with a girl child of 09 years. Her husband was HIV positive and expired. She and her child are also positive. CD4 count of her is 23% and that of her child is 38%. Both of them are under ART(Nevilast). She get exhausted very quickly and is very weak. Sir, is there any other medicine apart from Nevilast, which is more effective,and, where it is available as we are from Chhattisgarh. Apart from ART what medicine/tonic should be taken for general well health. What should be the daily routine followed. Is there any special diet to be followed. What should be taken to increase the CD4 count. What does the above mentioned percentage show about their health. Please guide me.

Measurement of the CD4+T cell count and level of plasma HIV RNA are the important parts of the routine evaluation & monitoring of HIV infected individuals .The CD4+T cell count is generally accepted indicator of the immunological competence of the patient iwth HIV infection and there is a close relationship between the CD4+T cell count and clinical manifestations of AIDS.
Now note down this also .
Patients with CD4+ T cell counts As you mentioned that they are taking NEVILAST ( i.e. nevirapine) , so do regular this drug .
As far as concerned about diet , every diet which increases one's immunity will suit the the patients ( high protein diet ).
So both these patients are at higher risk but will be under control with proper medication and treatment.
