Suggest Therapy For Depression

Hello, my brother is a tween. He has never been nor is depressed. He got into a fight with my mother a couple of minutes ago over something trivial. Next thing I knew, he was in his room saying how he has been "depressed for a week" and how he "hates it here" and "wants to live in space". My mother said that that was impossible and it's either here or death. He said death. I'm very scared.

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. You don;t have to worry much about that. Disappointment also brings on symptoms as in the case of depression and it is clear here that your brother is disappointed, and agitated. Agitated emotional feelings always spew out talks as you mention here. Therefore, you just watch him and try to sooth his emotions but diverting his attention towards his favored activities.

If you require more of my help in this aspect, please use this URL. http://goo.gl/aYW2pR. Make sure that you include every minute details possible.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck.
