Suggest Therapy For Stress Due To Long Hours Of Working
I have a heart condition & very high stress job with long hours. Lately even though in the past I could handle these long hours no problem, I have been unable to stay focused, almost falling asleep during my shifts. Am I just exhausted or should I be worried that something more id going on? Also, I've been having some chest pains over the last week or so, that I thought were just from stress, does this factor in?
Hello Welcome here. I can understand your concerns.
You have difficulty to stay focussed and fall asleep during your work shifts.
I feel that this is most probably due to stress. You would need some lifestyle modifications. Maintain a regular bedtime routine. Include green vegetables and fruits in your diet. Consume plenty of fluids. Practice relaxation exercises like deep breathing and meditation.
Just to be on a safer side, go for ECG to rule out any cardiac problems.
Hope this helps. Thanks.
