Dear Sir my father creatinine level in blood is 2.5 his weight is 85kg blood pressure 80/120 and sugar level is 100 b/m & after meal 160 pl suggest the treatment for my father his age is 74 Thank you
The interpretation of your test report is as follows: The creatinine level is raised. The normal range for creatinine is between 0.6-1.6 mg/dl. Creatinine level increases in renal dysfunction. Renal function tests= Creatinine clearance for GFR urea, uric acid and electrolytes- sodium, potassium, chloride need to be done to assess the renal functions.
The blood pressure if corrected posted by you i.e. 80/120 then there is diastolic hypertension. (please ensure that 80 is numerator and 120 is denominator). You need to consult your physician for clinical assessment and prescription of medication.
The blood glucose fasting and post-prandial are within normal limits.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja P Wahal
