Suggest Treatment After Analyzing MRI Report Of Spine

my MR finding reveal lumbar spondylosis with disc dehydration at l3-4 and l5-s1levels with a left paracentral disc protrusion at l5-s1 level causing indentation of the exiting nerve root on the left side at this level, i am 37 yr old male ,delhi and my email id is YYYY@YYYY ,doctor has advised operation what do you say about the treatment at present he had put me on pregablin will tht treatment work and please suggest is surgery necessary .
