ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Food always passes down along the food pipe. If it enters the air passage by mistake, it causes a lot of cough reflex.

Tablet can cause some erosion in the mucosa. If you still have any pain, then you should get yourself examined by an ENT specialist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka Aggarwal
