Suggest Treatment And Medication For Hip Torsion And Pain In Lower Back

I am suffering from a hip torsion and lower back pain. PT and Chiron treatments ongoing for months. Some improvement then setback. Pain debilitating as I can t lift and struggle getting in car, climbing stairs...I cannot take anti-inflammation meds due to reduced renal function. Omega-3 are the only supplement having anti-inflammatory properties I m aware of. What can I take for pain?

Hello,

Hip torsion and lower back pain can be quite debilitating, and it's important to work closely with your healthcare provider to find the most appropriate treatment plan for you. Here are some options that may help alleviate your pain:
* Physical therapy: It sounds like you've already been undergoing physical therapy, but it may be worth revisiting your treatment plan and discussing any additional exercises or modifications with your physical therapist. They may also be able to recommend different modalities, such as ultrasound or heat therapy, to help reduce your pain.
* Chiropractic care: Chiropractic adjustments may be helpful in relieving hip torsion and lower back pain. However, it's important to find a reputable chiropractor and discuss any concerns or risks with your healthcare provider.
* Acupuncture: Acupuncture may help relieve pain by releasing endorphins and improving circulation. It's important to find a licensed and experienced acupuncturist and discuss any potential risks with your healthcare provider.
* Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory alternatives: Since you cannot take anti-inflammatory medications due to reduced renal function, there are alternative supplements and medications that may help alleviate pain. Acetaminophen (Tylenol) is an over-the-counter pain reliever that is not an anti-inflammatory. Topical creams or gels, such as those containing capsaicin or menthol, may also provide some relief. Discuss the use of any supplements or medications with your healthcare provider, as they may interact with other medications or have potential side effects.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
