Suggest Treatment For 3 Painful Bumps On The Wrist

yesterday 3 sudden bumps on top of left wrist on single vein. Today, they are larger and am getting another bump along my forearm which is rather tender, and the original 3 have increased in size. What is the problem, as I am on new medication for blood pressure since 2 weeks ago?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.

Painful bumps over skin of left wrist on a single vein or fore-arm needs to be inspected at least to arrive at a certain conclusion.

It could be due to small boils or cystic acne or any other allergic skin condition but without actual examination of the skin lesions or bumps,it is very difficult to comment regarding exact diagnosis.

So,in my advise, you should go for clinical examination by dermatologist for proper diagnosis first.

However,it has nothing to do with your new blood pressure medications since 2 weeks,so no need to worry about it

Meanwhile, you may take treatment like moisturizer creams ,use cool compression, wash hands regularly using sorbolene cream.
