Suggest Treatment For 80% Blockage Of Aorta

Hi my brother in law has recently suffered Vertigo, dizziness in brain. His doctor diagnosed & said he has had 80% blockage of his aorta. Neurosurgeon did angeiograph on him & did not do angeoplasty. Also put him on medication to see it helped . He is not getting vertigo at this momment. Doctor will put him on blood thinner. How dangerous his conditions are? what precaution he should take for healthy lifestyle. Will his 80% blockage treatable? Please help me understand to help my sister in law. Thank you

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Angioplasty must not be performed due to valid reasons on the part of interventional neurologist or cardiologist. Blood thinners healthy life style anti lipid drugs control of blood sugar and body weight avoidance of smoking strict diet measures to avoid dairy fat, junk foods non-veg (if consuming) regular aerobics meditations and YOGA are best remedies to get well soon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
