Suggest Treatment For Arnold Chiari Type I Malformation

I need to find a neurologist in Toronto with a good reputation. The reason for this, back in January I saw dr l. MacDonald at st Michael s hospital for a malformation on my brain and I need to see him again but apparently he is not there taking patients and the neurology department says there are no doctors who are accepting new patients. The issue I have is Arnold Chiairi type 1 malformation. He wanted to keep an eye on it so that it does not increase in size.

Hi,

Arnold chiari are all different. I cannot give any specific recommendations on your particular situation. There can be a lot of complications of it that can include death, paralysis, dementia, and considerable different types of pain.

The location and movement of a pain gives clues as to what is going on. If there isn't changes of structure/pain/function/stroke like symptoms, then it doesn't necessarily get worse ever.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
