Suggest Treatment For Athlete's Foot

I have athletes foot between my little toe and the one next to it. It has been swollen and itches like awful. I have been putting Lotrimin on it twice a day, keeping it clean with soap and water also. I popped the blister that was on it and there was pus in it. I cleaned it with alcohol. What else should I do? I am diabetic also.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain Athlete's foot is commonly a fungal infection and as you are a Diabetic the severity of the infection can be high..
I would suggest you to keep the area clean as well as DRY to prevent further fungal growth..
You can use Lotrimin powder ( Miconazole)..
You can also apply antifungal creams like Athlete's foot cream or a combination of antifungal and antibiotics combination..
You should avoid excessive water or moisture exposure, avoid long hours of wearing shoes and socks and let air to get exposed to the feet..

Hope this information helps.

Thanks and regards.
