my 63 yr old sister got bit by a snake 2 yrs ago. we didn t see it clearly but figured it was a black snake. but for the last 2 yrs she has had very serious health issues. things that she did her whole life is have reactions to them. like all of sudden she had reation to colorering her hair, antibiotic s having side affects her health issuesare unreal. they say she has copd . all kinds of health problems. even skin cream she gets rashes. I also know that where she lives she has had ticks on her. if there is any chance that any of this makes sense and I could show her maybe this is why shes so sick she is so tired.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I want to make it clear that there is no relation to her present symptoms with a 20-year-old snake bite. COPD is a chronic disease, and it may cause breathlessness and chronic cough.

You would need to get done a lung volume function tests and visit a chest physician for a clear idea on what could be done based on the report.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
